Flight poem

Here's a poem I wrote on the theme of flight

When my heart felt so light, I once took flight
In the air, I went up there
I cut through the wind
And floated on the breeze
My heart then grew wings and I soared over trees
But when something goes up
It must go down
For down I went
Now I do not cut through the wind or float on the breeze
For my heart is heavy and so are my wings
